Our global initiatives allow our students to experience other cultures and countries by developing relationships with international students at our school and by visiting other parts of the world.
As we prepare our students for what's ahead, their understanding and respect for the rich diversity and complexity of our world will be important for their success.

Discovery Week - Travel Opportunities
Learning is not confined to classrooms. Discovery Week offers our Middle and Upper School students the option to experience trips focused on various outcomes and experiences including cultural exposure, community service, and physical activity—all to instill a love of travel.

International Students
We have opened our doors to many international students from different countries including Spain, China, Korea, Croatia, Holland, Kenya, and Germany. As they learn about our culture, we encourage them to teach us about theirs in events such as the student and host family potluck dinner and the International Festival. The diversity that these students bring to our campus helps our students look beyond their own borders.
Forsyth Country Day School (FCDS) is a private, college preparatory, independent school for preschool through high school located in Lewisville, NC, just outside of Winston-Salem.
