Global Initiatives

Can meeting people from around the world, learning about global cultures, and traveling to other countries broaden our view and understanding? We’ve seen it for ourselves.
Our global initiatives allow our students to experience other cultures and countries by developing relationships with international students at our school and by visiting other parts of the world.

As we prepare our students for what's ahead, their understanding and respect for the rich diversity and complexity of our world will be important for their success.

For more than 15 years, Forsyth Country Day School has opened its doors to full-time international high school studentsan experience that has greatly benefitted our whole school community.

  • International Students

We have opened our doors in the Upper School to 21 international students from five different countries: China, Korea, Croatia, Holland, and Germany. As they learn about our culture, we encourage them to teach us about theirs in events such as the student and host family potluck dinner and the International Festival. The diversity that these students bring to our campus helps our students look beyond their own borders.
