  • Textbooks & Additional Fees

    Tuition includes textbooks through 4th grade. Beginning with 5th grade, students must purchase textbooks. Estimated textbook fees and additional fees are as follows:

  • Non-Refundable Deposit

    A non-refundable deposit of $1,500 ($500 for Preschool), accompanied by a signed contract, secures the student’s place in the class. The deposit is then credited toward overall tuition costs (half each semester).
  • Tuition Refund Plan

    A Tuition Refund Plan is available at a reasonable charge (2.25%). This plan ensures a partial refund of remaining tuition in the event of withdrawal after 14 consecutive calendar days of attendance.
  • Tuition Payment Plans

    There are three tuition payment plans. Options include a two payment plan, a 10-month bank draft plan (12 months for PS), and one payment with a 2% discount if tuition is paid in full upon signing and timely return of the enrollment contract.

Financial Aid

Forsyth Country Day offers financial aid to make our exceptional educational experience available to those who qualify for admission and demonstrate financial need. All current students entering grades 1-12 and applicants to grades 1-12 are eligible to apply for this need-based financial aid program.

  • Financial Aid Process and Deadlines

    All interested families must apply through SSS/TADS. To begin the process, go to the SSS Portal. Our school code is 3226. 
     
    • Complete the financial aid application (PFS) and pay the $55 processing fee. 
    • Upload all required documentation as noted below. 
    • The financial aid committee will review all completed applications. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that the application is complete prior to stated deadlines. 
    • Applications can be started on November 1st and must be completed with all required documentation by January 10th. 
    Priority for financial aid is given to families completing the process within the stated deadlines.
  • Required Documents

    • 2020 Tax Return-complete with all schedules 
    • 2021 Final Pay Stub
    • 2021 W2 (once available)
  • Financial Aid Decisions

    New families:
    • All candidates must apply and be accepted to Forsyth Country Day before a financial aid award can be offered. 
    • Financial aid awards can only be finalized after enrollment is accepted by a family. 
    • The admission office will notify each family of their proposed financial aid award, prior to publishing the award on the enrollment contract. 
    Returning families:
    • Families must reapply each year for financial aid awards, following the steps listed above. 
    • Financial aid awards for returning families will be published on the re-enrollment contract. 
  • Merit Scholarships

    FCDS is committed to attracting and supporting students who bring academic excellence and exceptional character to our school. The Merit Scholarship Program is available to newly enrolling students entering grades 3-11 who demonstrate outstanding academic credentials. 

    To be considered for a Merit Scholarship, a student must: 
    • Complete a half day of standardized testing on our campus 
    • Submit most recent transcripts and/or report card 
    In order to maintain a merit scholarship, a student must:
    • Maintain good academic standing
    • Register for Honors and AP courses as available
    • Be involved in at least one co-curricular activity
    • Remain in good standing with regards to behavior 
    Initial scholarship amounts vary, but once awarded, the amount remains constant and is automatically renewed annually according to the criteria listed above.
