Forsyth Country Day School seeks to enroll academically qualified students with diverse backgrounds and talents who will make a positive contribution to the life of the school.
Admission is rolling so please apply early as first-round acceptance is sent in March.

Here are the steps to apply to FCDS:

  • Schedule a tour

    We welcome you to see our school in action and tour our campus. There’s no substitute for seeing first-hand how our invested teachers engage our students. To schedule a tour, please book onlineemail, or call the Admission Office at 336-945-3151.
  • Submit your application

    The FCDS application is easy. Use the Apply button above.

    If you have not yet completed the Inquiry Form, do that first and we will send you your username to get started.
  • Arrange a classroom visit for your child

    Schedule a day for your child to shadow a current student in kindergarten through 11th grade. Please email or call the Admission Office at 336-945-3151.
  • Testing/screenings

    Kindergarten applicants will need to complete a Brigance assessment either in person (if allowed) or by Zoom.  Applicants to Grades 1-12 should provide any standardized test scores that they have received. 
  • Send us recommendations and transcripts

    We want to learn more about your child from his or her current teachers. We want to know about your child’s talents, interests, strengths, and challenges. Please download, print and distribute teacher forms the appropriate grade. Have the teacher complete the form and return it directly to us by email or by mail.

    The Student Info Release form can be used to provide report cards and/or transcripts for all applicants to grade 1 through grade 12.

After the Application Process is Complete

  • Admission committee meets to review, discuss, and make admission decisions
  • Enrollment contracts are due back to Forsyth Country Day School two weeks after acceptance
  • If tuition assistance is needed, please submit financial aid application through this link concurrently with Admission application.
