Can playing sports help students build character, leadership, and responsibility?
We think so. Do you?
Starting in sixth grade, every student at Forsyth is offered the opportunity to play sports and encouraged to be part of an athletic team.
Playing on a team gives your child the experience of building relationships with teammates and coaches, developing skills and confidence, working hard, and learning good sportsmanship.
From lacrosse to soccer to tennis to swimming to golf, our students give their all to every sport.
Win or lose – our athletes gain so much by having the opportunity to play.

All of our games on William Taylor Field and in the CAC and Livengood Gym are live streamed. Cameras are being installed in other playing areas. If you subscribe to NFHS, you will have access to all of the games that are currently available. Please consider the annual pass subscription, since a portion of that yearly cost gets returned to FCDS.
FCDS is recognized as a National Athletic Trainers' Association First Team Safe Secondary School for the years 2015-2021. Our athletic trainers, Kevin Westwood and Aaron Parks, are an important resource to our student-athletes.
