  • Preschool

    Fall 2019 Preschool Lead Teacher (12 month position) – Degree in early childhood education preferred with experience directing a preschool classroom. Email resume including experience to Niki Vogler.

  • Upper School

    Part-time Math Test Prep Teacher – Forsyth Country Day School is seeking an Upper School Test Prep teacher to deliver math instruction for the 2019-2020 school year. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field. A master's degree in math or math teaching and experience teaching test prep curricula or teaching in a secondary or postsecondary school setting are preferred. The position will include teaching two class periods of math content that is common to standardized tests including the SAT and ACT. Please email a resume to Niki Vogler.

  • General Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Our school is seeking individuals with basic to advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, processes and procedures in facilities maintenance and/or general construction. The General Facilities Maintenance Technician position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a low stress and friendly working environment. Our full-time positions offer: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days, with typically consistent working hours of Monday-Friday 6:50 a.m.-3:50 p.m.

    Facilities Management exists for the purpose of maintaining and operating the facilities necessary to house and support the school’s academic and service programs through installation, maintenance, and repair.
    The primary purpose of this position is to provide building trade services to the Academic and Auxiliary Services Buildings. These trades include, but are not limited to: carpentry, painting, locksmithing, plumbing, electric, janitorial, etc., ranging from routine and unskilled to highly skilled. 

    Qualifications:
    High school diploma and either one to two years of related experience or training equivalent.
    A valid driver’s license is required.
    A clean background check and drug screen will be required.
    Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
    Good organizational and time management skills.
    Must be capable of occasionally lifting 50lbs.
    Must be capable of climbing and working from ladders.
    Available to work occasional Saturday and non-typical hours for inclement weather.
    Must be able to safely operate small to medium-sized motorized equipment.

  • Cleaning Crew Member

    Our school is seeking individuals to join our cleaning crew. Our full-time positions offer: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days, with flexible evening/night working hours Monday-Friday.  
     
    The primary purpose of this position is to provide general cleaning, removing trash, dusting, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, mopping, stocking toiletries and other cleaning duties as assigned to the Academic and Auxiliary Services Buildings.
     
    Qualifications:
    A clean background check and drug screen will be required.
    Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
    Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
    Good organizational and time management skills are a must.
    Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
    Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
    Must be capable of occasionally lifting 50lbs.
