At Forsyth Country Day School, your child’s overall well-being is our priority. We are fortunate to have two qualified counselors to serve our kindergarten through twelfth-grade students and their families. Each division has a dedicated counselor to support students and families as we work towards the common goal of student wellness. Additionally, our counselors work together to create school-wide programs that are relevant and impactful for the entire community.

How Our Counselors Help Families

  • Our counselors work with the students through individual counseling to promote social and emotional development.
  • Our counselors provide crisis counseling and support as well as provide outside referrals when the need arises.
  • Our counselors serve as a resource to classroom teachers every day.
  • Our counselors collaborate with administration and faculty to develop the FCDS Character Program.
  • In our Lower and Middle School, our counselors work together to construct a proactive and engaging classroom guidance program.
  • In Upper and Middle School, the counselors focus on service learning opportunities and work alongside student clubs.
