Who are We?

“You may know everything about your child, but we know everything about 2 to 18-year-olds. Let’s learn from each other.”
 Gardner Barrier, Head of School

Above all, we’re educational experts who know your child.

We believe that a truly excellent education integrates opportunities to explore a variety of interests while developing a strong academic base. It is this combination of passion and purpose that creates children who are curious, motivated, and excited to learn.

Our school is a special place where students are prepared for college and beyond. How are our students ready for what's ahead?

  • Invested faculty - Our teachers, coaches, and counselors are all invested in making sure each child is valued, understood, and challenged. They encourage all students to be their authentic selves.
  • Forward-thinking learning - Our core values, curriculum, and programs develop students who are ready for the world ahead. Students gain cultural competencies, entrepreneurial skills, leadership skills, and an openness to explore the greater community and contribute to the world.
  • Collaborative community – Our teachers, staff, and families all come together for one common goal – an exceptional educational experience. Our community is positive and supportive. We strive to cultivate a sense not only of inclusion but of belonging.

We invite your family to visit our vibrant campus to experience FCDS for yourself.
