FCDS YAG Delegation Excels at Statewide Conference

 
Congratulations to the 34 students who represented FCDS at the 2024 N.C. Youth and Government Conference in Raleigh! The students (with advisors Gerry Lauber, Grace Mason, and Jennifer Nugent) spent four days learning about and participating in mock government to understand how to become changemakers and improve their communities. 
 
The following FCDS students were active officers at the 2024 conference:
Springer Hiatt: Chief of Staff
Asmithaa Vinukonda: Attorney General
Grant Faraci: Speaker of the Forum
Emma Cutherall: Speaker Pro Tempore also served as a committee chair 
Kelso Harvey: Served as a clerk in committees
