Furies Show Championship Form at Durham Academy
The Fury Boys' Varsity Tennis Team showed up and played outstanding tennis in a 4-5 loss to Durham Academy (15-3) today. Kendrick Lash #1, Hank Williams #2, and Ben Williams #3, all won in singles and Kendrick and Hank won at #1 doubles. Alan Trbonja #4 and Max Trbonja #5, both lost in third set tie breakers. Our #2 doubles team also lost in a third set tie breaker. Durham Academy is a seasoned team with 18 matches, mostly at the 4A level under their belts with a 15-3 record coming into this contest and we extended them to 4 match tie breakers. Outstanding work guys!
