FCDS is in the midst of nine consecutive years of enrollment growth and is a leader among independent schools offering courses in STEM, entrepreneurship, arts, and architecture.

The class of 2024 (79 students) received 286 acceptances to 126 different colleges in 30 states and was awarded $5.4 million in merit scholarships. They were accepted to Brown, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Davidson, Duke, Georgetown, Princeton, UNC-Chapel Hill, UPenn, Wake Forest, U.S. Military Academy, and many other fine colleges.
- One member of the class of 2024 was a National Merit Scholarship winner.
- For the past four years, athletic teams won the Wells Fargo Cup as the most outstanding athletic program in the state. FCDS set a school record of 15 State Championships during this period.
