FCDS Lower School Students Shine at the Invention Convention

FCDS Lower School Students Shine at the Invention Convention

FCDS third and fourth graders leaned into our core value of curiosity as they created innovative inventions and shared them at Kaleidium’s annual Invention Convention. Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding inventions!

Third grade:

  • Eleanor St. George brought home second place with her invention Cat Condos.
  • Vivienne Robinson came in first place with her invention Fun Leg.

Fourth Grade:

  • Bryson Long received the People’s Choice Award with his invention Amphibious Tricycle.
  • Nora Taylor came in first place overall!
  • Nora and Vivienne will head to Dearborn, Michigan in June to compete nationally.

We’re proud of all the participants and their fantastic inventions: Vivienne Robinson, Eleanor St. George, Mia Burger, Kate Fowler, Vivian Craven, Nora Taylor, Bryson Long, Avni Patel, Cabell Hornaday, Vivian Cardenas, and Chelsea Blair.

Lower School Science Specialist Cara Kusnic was thrilled that her students embraced this opportunity.
