    My favorite FCDS memory was last spring when our boys and girls track and field team won the state championship and then ran up to the boys lacrosse field just as they finished their game and won the state championship as well.

    My favorite FCDS memory was being able to work on the Lower School Musical as a member of the tech team. I really enjoyed learning about the other aspects of theatre that are not noticed by the audience.

    My favorite class was Modern World History because Mr. Howell taught it well and I felt like I learned the best there.

    In college, I'm looking forward to meeting new people, having new experiences, and gaining independence.

    My favorite memory at FCDS was winning the Lacrosse State Championship. It was awesome because the previous season was taken from us, and me and the whole team came out that season knowing we were going to win it. I also loved winning it on my home field and being able to celebrate with all my classmates, teachers, family, and friends.

    My favorite moment from my time at FCDS would have to be getting to my participate in all of the sports available at the school. I got to play in the state semi finals for soccer in my sophomore year. It was a core memory for me.

    I believe that FCDS has prepared me in the way that I grew to be a better person as my high school life carried on, and I’m excited to see what awaits me as I go to college.

    My favorite FCDS memory was created this year when I was welcomed to the lacrosse team my senior year. Great coaches and teammates have made the season amazing and I've since fallen in love with the sport. I can't wait to finish strong with my brothers.

    My favorite classes at Forsyth have been the Upper School's three-year engineering track with Mr. Trotter. From Introduction to Engineering to Advanced Circuits, Mr. Trotter has pushed me to be the best engineer and the best person that I can be. I'm looking forward to continuing to pursue engineering in college!

    My favorite class was AP European History with Dr. Smith because European history was really interesting to me, and Dr. Smith always made the class so fun. I also loved talking about philosophy with Dr. Faulkner because I feel like I learned so much from being around him.

    My favorite teacher was Mrs. Harvey for English III. I was so burnt out and tired of reading and writing, but her class sparked that passion back in me. She’s the reason that I fell back in love with storytelling and why I am going forward with theater, and I can’t thank her enough.

    My favorite FCDS memory was playing with the guys during basketball season, especially the games against Calvary. When I hit the buzzer beater to win the game my sophomore year, that would by far be my best memory here at FCDS.

    My favorite memory at FCDS has been the senior class parade. It was an unforgettable morning when I realized why it was so amazing to be able to blow my referee whistle, spray my silly string, and scooter alongside my friends for our last first day of high school.

    My favorite class was Mr. Martin's C3 class in my 8th-grade year. For anyone who has had Mr. Martin, you know that he is no ordinary structured teacher, but that is what made the class such a memorable experience. He let us have the freedom to show OUR curiosity in the class by allowing us to choose almost all the topics for discussions/debates, reading assignments, and everything else. It was the first class I looked forward to attending every day, and I won't forget how Mr. Martin brought out the best qualities in his students.

    FCDS has taught me many things inside and outside the academic world. Although I am confident in the foundations FCDS has created in my studies, I also know that everyone within the community has prepared me to be able to form connections with my educators and peers in meaningful ways that will impact me for my entire life.

    I am most looking forward to being in a new environment, so I can take every lesson FCDS has given me and apply it to my new adventure.

    My favorite FCDS memory was by far winning states on the 4x100 freestyle relay during my sophomore year. Breaking the school record and swimming with those girls inspired me to work hard in and out of the pool, and their influence has had an everlasting impact on the person I have become. I am so grateful to have been able to share that moment on the podium with three of the most kind and gifted athletes in FCDS Girls' Swimming history.

I am always excited to walk into his classroom because his classes are always fascinating and engaging, and he continuously encourages me to challenge myself academically. Dr. Sponholtz is an amazing and supportive mentor who has helped me grow so much both as a learner and individual. Thanks to Dr. Sponholtz, I'll make sure to always have a wonderful weekend full of WISE CHOICES.

    My favorite teacher is Mrs. Holloway. She was very helpful and kind to me when I met several struggles in English as a non-native speaker. She also provides a lot of support when I first tried mock trial and when I was applying for colleges.
