12 FCDS Students Earn Chairs to the NC Jr. Western Region Orchestra Festival
FCDS hosted students from across the state who came to earn a spot in one of the two state sanctioned orchestras. 484 students competed for 179 spots in the North Carolina Junior Western Region Orchestra.
FCDS ranked at the top of all schools in Western North Carolina with the most students earning chairs!

Students who earned a chair will participate in a 2 day festival at Atkins High School (Winston-Salem, NC) that will culminate in a concert at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018.
