FCDS Students Ace the AMC 10 & 12

 
25 questions. 75 minutes. The American Mathematics Contests are multiple choice examinations in high school mathematics designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills.
 
Administered around the country, these competitions provide an opportunity for high school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers. The AMC 10 and 12 are the first in a series of competitions. 
 
In November, eight students competed in the AMC 10A, 13 students competed in the AMC 12A, and 12 students competed in the AMC 12B.
