Furies score 8-1 victory over Southlake Christian Academy

The FCDS Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team won today’s match against Southlake Christian Academy by a score of 8-1. Sunna Maass led the Furies today at the #1 position with steady play from the baseline and mid-court areas. Sunna did an excellent job of attacking her opponent’s short balls with slice. Julia Kincaid competed at the top of her game in her singles match at #3. Mary Brooks Hall pushed through a tough match against a very determined opponent to win at #4. Louise King played an excellent match to win at #5 singles. Zayla Smith played well as she ran her opponent all over the court. Her match was stopped because her opponent became over-heated.
