FCDS Middle School Students Place First and Second in MathCounts Competition
Three FCDS Middle School students placed in the top 10 at the February MathCounts competition.

Eight FCDS Middle School students competed in the MathCounts Chapter Competition, which was held online on February 5 and 6. In the region, 58 students from 11 middle schools competed. The top 20 percent and/or top-scoring students from each school advance to the next level of competition, the Chapter Invitational.
The FCDS MathCounts team was: Anika, Ethan, Ava Claire, Sara Insuasti, Katie Thompson, James Hsu, Yutonia Tang, and Charlotte Morath.
Congratulations to all of the competitors on their excellent performances, and good luck to Anika, Ethan, and Ava Claire, who will go on to represent FCDS at the MathCounts Chapter Invitational on February 25!
