FCDS Wins Third Place in the State in American Mathematics Contest
On November 1, 2018, the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics recognized the top five schools in the state for their performance on the American Mathematics Contests. During the State Mathematics Conference awards ceremony, Forsyth Country Day School received an award for exceptional performance in the American Mathematics Contest 12A. The FCDS team scored a total of 307.50 points and placed third in the state!
Congratulations to the students with the top individual scores: Kevin Wang ’18, Kelly Chen ’18, and Mindy Li ’18. Currently, Kevin attends Georgia Institute of Technology, Kelly attends Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Mindy attends Brown University.
