K-6 Global Studies Program

Students explore these countries through a variety of educational opportunities, including exposure to world languages (in addition to the daily conversational Spanish already studied in K-6), art projects, world music and dances specific to the countries being studied, and – most important – fostering communication and building relationships with students in these countries.
FCDS is establishing relationships with 10 partner schools around the world including the Chikale School in India, the American Pacific School in Thailand, Northern Hill Bilingual School in Argentina, and the American Community School in Greece.
As a member of the Global Education Benchmark Group (GEBG), we are committed to collaborate with and share global education best practices with some of the finest independent schools in the country.
