International Students Admission Process


The following is required of all international students (grades 7-11) who wish to apply to Forsyth Country Day School:
 
  1. Completed application; application fee of $250 (wire transfer instructions will be provided)
  2. Certified translation of the student’s grades from his/her current school
  3. Teacher recommendations from English and Math teachers
  4. A Skype or in-person interview with admission officer
  5. TOEFL (require of all non-native English speakers; 80 minimum)
  6. Proof of immunizations (if admitted, student must have immunizations required by North Carolina including, but not limited to, TDap and Varicella).  Student must also show proof of medical insurance coverage.

IMPORTANT: As of Fall 2017, Forsyth Country Day School requires that all international candidates (requiring Form  I-20) currently attending school in China submit the application with the guidance of Princeton Educational Services (PEDUS). FCDS and PEDUS have partnered to provide students with support throughout the admission process that continues once the student marticulates to the United States, at school, as well as throughout the homestay experience.
