Application Steps

Returning families
who have previously applied for financial aid must complete the application online by January 5, 2018, including the following documentation uploaded directly into the record on SSS website:

  • Your 2016 Income Tax Return.
  • A copy of all 2017 W-2 Form and 1099 as soon as they are available in January.
  • A copy of final 2017 pay stub by January 5, 2018.
The above items must be uploaded or mailed to SSS to complete the application.

New families should provide the following information in addition to the completed application:

  • Your 2016 Income Tax Form. If the admission process will be completed after April 15, you will need to provide your 2017 Income Tax Return.
  • A copy of 2017 W-2 Forms due upon application.
  • A copy of most recent pay stub due by upon application.

The above items must be uploaded to SSS to complete the application.

While not required, families can choose to submit a cover letter to the Financial Aid Committee outlining the reasons for applying and/or any unusual family or financial circumstances. This is an opportunity to address the committee and help the committee understand more about a family's individual situation and need. This cover letter should be sent to the FCDS Financial Aid Committee when you submit your application for aid.

  • Families should submit the SSS financial aid applications and paperwork starting November 1, 2017.
  • Financial Aid awards will be determined in the order in which they are received.
