How Your Forsyth Fund Donations Impact Our School

Thank you for providing our children with many wonderful resources and opportunities that are only possible through your generosity. Here are some of the ways the Forsyth Fund supports FCDS:

Preschool

There’s nothing like combining learning with glitter! Young minds blossom when creative work is combined with academics. Forsyth Fund donations help to buy the classroom supplies that make this possible.

Lower School (K-4)

Our Lower School students love the character program activities that involve their “Big Buddies” from the Upper and Middle Schools. Forsyth Fund dollars enable the purchase of supplies used to build memories while helping others - like through Kindness Rocks that are now spread across campus and Winston-Salem!

Middle School (5-8)

Activity period at lunch is a Middle School favorite. Using sports equipment made possible through the Forsyth Fund, our students love spending time together on the activity field and basketball court. Even the maintenance of these areas benefits from your support of the Forsyth Fund!

Upper School (9-12)

Using both power and manual tools to create self-designed projects, the Upper School engineering students experience the deep learning that comes from hands-on work. These resources are just some of the great things that come through Forsyth Fund donations.
Forsyth Country Day School (FCDS) is a private, college preparatory, independent school for preschool through high school located in Lewisville, NC, just outside of Winston-Salem. Students benefit from a challenging academic curriculum, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
