Community School of the Arts

To encourage passion and discovery, the Community School of the Arts allows students to participate in some of their favorite activities right on campus.
The Community School of the Arts at Forsyth Country Day School promotes the idea that a well-rounded education in arts, physical activity, and academics is an essential component of each student’s education. Outside the classroom, students discover and learn through our programs.

The Community School of the Arts is open to others outside of Forsyth Country Day School. We invite children who are home schooled or attend other institutions to enroll in our programs. Private music lessons are even available to adults in our community. We hope you will take advantage of this special enrichment program!

We are excited to announce a brand new program in the Community School of the Arts! This class is taught by Margaret Wages, and is specifically for EAP Scholars and Kindergarten students. Rooted in the belief that music is for everyone and the scientific findings that early exposure improves everything from attention span to reading skills to motor development, Piano Pals immerses children in the idea that music is simply a part of life, something we all can experience, enjoy, and create! All new students must start at Level I before progressing.
