The Financial Aid Program is designed to provide financial assistance to qualified students. All students applying to Grade 1 through Grade 12 are eligible to apply for this need-based financial aid program.  Interested families submit an application online at http://sssbynais.org/. All applications and awards are confidential.

Financial Aid

We realize that not all families can afford full tuition for their children. So we offer financial aid to make our exceptional educational experience available to those who qualify for admission and demonstrate financial need.

We encourage families to apply first to determine if FCDS is a fit for their children.

Next, families can apply for financial aid using SSS, a subsidiary of NAIS, to process and evaluate financial aid applications. The school then determines specific aid amounts after reviewing recommendations from SSS.

While FCDS cannot always meet a family's demonstrated need, we have had great success in helping many families. Interested families should submit an application online at sssbynais.org.

  • Merit Scholarship Program

FCDS is committed to attracting and supporting students who bring academic excellence and exceptional character to our school. That's why we offer a Merit Scholarship Program.

The Merit Scholarship Program is available to newly enrolling students entering grades 3-11 who demonstrate good character and outstanding academic credentials. Initial scholarship amounts vary based on these factors but once awarded, the amount remains constant and is automatically renewed annually with continued academic success and excellent character. To be considered for a Merit Scholarship, a student merely needs to apply to the school. The required testing is a part of the FCDS application.

For more information, please contact Ashley Verwoerdt, Director of Admission by email or phone at 336-945-3151 ext. 313.
  • Guidelines

Each year the Board of Trustees establishes tuition, the overall budget for the school, and a budget for the total amount available for financial aid. Using this as a guideline, the Financial Aid Committee evaluates applications and makes awards to as many families as possible. Our program is completely self-funded; the total amount available each year varies.
