Preschool

Many parents are looking for a true educational experience for their children ages 2 to 4. They want their children exposed to reading, math, science, art, conversational Spanish, music, and physical activity.

Of course, they also want them to play, make friends, and be encouraged and excited to learn.
If you’re looking for an all-day, year-round educational environment for your child, then our Preschool may just be your answer.

Our Preschool offers a unique opportunity for our youngest learners. This robust year-round experience is designed to prepare students cognitively, socially, and physically for an effortless transition to kindergarten and beyond.

By focusing on the development of skills necessary for success in our kindergarten program, students build foundational knowledge in literacy, mathematics, phonemic awareness, science, and communication.

The all-day schedule still leaves time for play and exploration—in a warm and caring environment.

We'd like to show you around. Schedule your tour today!

What Our Parents Say

“Moving to a new preschool was a big decision for us as young parents. We could not be happier that we moved to FCDS Preschool! The campus community has been a huge gift to our family, and the structure of the program has allowed our girls to grow and thrive in ways we never imagined.” - Kate, Preschool parent

Parents play a vital role in their children’s education and FCDS enjoys a supportive and interactive partnership with parents. Through the formal Parents' Association, parents may take part in school-wide activities or may volunteer in specific areas, such as the library, or in individual classrooms. Parents support the instructional program in a wide variety of ways.

Throughout the year, the school hosts informative parent nights to help keep parents informed about curriculum changes or program developments. In addition, teachers provide quarterly feedback regarding individual student progress. Twice yearly, the school hosts formal conferences. Each teacher maintains informative web pages.
