FCDS Middle School Students Score Big in AMC 8

 
On November 13, 2018, sixty students in the fifth through eighth grades competed in American Mathematics Contest 8. The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. 

Here are the top three students from our school followed by the top students from each grade.

School Winner: Max Drucker (achieved Honor Roll status for scoring in the top 5% of nationally)

2nd Place School: Asmithaa Vinukonda (achieved Honor Roll status for scoring in the top 5% of nationally)
