At the heart of every school is a wonderful library.
We’re proud to provide an inviting and comfortable place for our students to learn, discover, and read!
The Williams Library Discovery Center boasts two libraries to meet the research, independent and self-selected needs of the entire FCDS community. Our libraries, the Smith Library for Lower School and the Clay Library for Middle and Upper School, have a combined collection of over 40,000 print volumes, an eBook collection with over 300 titles, and access to over 30 online databases and journals. The Williams Library Discovery Center encourages and promotes the development of research and information skills while promoting and encouraging our 21st-century learners.

On and off-campus access to hundreds of titles through eBook subscription services (Gale, OverDrive, and Salem)
Periodical and scholarly journal articles accessible through EBSCO, JSTOR, SIRS Discoverer, and NewsBank
Nonfiction research databases such as CultureGrams, Literature Resource Center Plus and Biography Reference Center
