Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Our lives are richer when we learn from one another.

How Our Community Benefits from Diversity

We believe diversity and inclusion play an integral part of our community and the day-to-day learning experience. Our students benefit from:
  • Understanding multiple perspectives, histories, and cultures
  • Becoming empathetic members of our community who possess strong character
  • Preparing for the global environment beyond our campus
  • Knowing and respecting each student is unique and has something special to offer
We can all learn from one another. So we welcome students and families from all backgrounds to join our community.

Diversity Principles

In our commitment to diversity, Forsyth Country Day School aspires to:
  • Create a strong diversity climate – one in which difference is embraced and inclusion of all members is valued and reinforced through policy, practice, and demonstrated leadership
  • Provide a school community with the ability to work across differences as well as opportunities to explore differences in day-to-day interactions
  • Foster an environment of intellectual curiosity relating to the history, culture, language, viewpoints, and experiences of others
  • Develop inclusive leaders who understand and value the importance of different perspectives
Creating a community of inclusion, in which each member of the Forsyth Country Day School family is welcomed, valued, empowered, and respected is a core principle of our school’s overall mission.
