Summer Quest

Summer Quest at Forsyth Country Day School welcomes you to wonderful opportunities to dream, play, and discover! We are excited to offer a wide variety of personal and academic enrichment activities for students on our state-of-the-art campus in Lewisville, North Carolina. Along with courses for academic improvement, our offerings include visual arts, science, technology, and athletic classes for students of all ages. We can't wait for you to participate!

All registration occurs online. Please click the link at the left to register. 50% of the final payment is due at time of registration. Credit and electronic payments are accepted as well as check by mail payable to FCDS. Camps will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have registered and paid your 50% by June 1, your child will receive a summer camp draw string bag! FCDS Summer Quest appreciates its multi-week campers and offers a multi-week discount. We want you to come and spend your whole summer with us! Multi-week campers will receive a 10% discount on the fourth week, a 20% on the fifth week, a 30% discount on the sixth week, and a 40% discount on the seventh and eighth weeks.

Stay and play ALL day! The Summer Quest Bridge provides a hot lunch prepared by the Flik Corporation which serves FCDS during the school year. This hot lunch is included in the price of full day classes and is required for anyone staying for a morning and afternoon class. Not only will your child receive a hot lunch, they will also be supervised and participate in a PE class taught in our Livengood Gymnasium. Students may still bring their own lunch if they so desire. There will be no peanut products served or used in the preparation of these meals. The SQ Bridge transitions students between morning and afternoon classes for $60 (PE class and lunch each day). Students participating in our sports camps will pay a reduced fee of $30 (cost of lunches only) if they are staying for an afternoon class.

What to Bring: Before each week of camp you will receive an email from your child’s teacher/coach with any specific items they need to bring. Students involved in any sports program should bring a water bottle, appropriate shoes, and sunscreen on a daily basis. Students in these activities will be able to fill water bottles before they begin. Please make sure that all personal items are clearly marked with your child's name.

Drop Off and Pick Up: The regular scheduled camp hours are from 9-3. You may drop off and pick up your child in front of the Judith Kuhn building before and after camp within a 15-minute time window, otherwise a camp care fee will be administered. Students will be checked in each morning and out each afternoon in the Fireplace Room.

Before/After Care Program: Before Camp Care is offered from 7:30-9:00 a.m. each morning in the Livengood Gymnasium for a fee of $35.00 ($7 a day). After Camp Care is available each afternoon in the Lowery Lower School Building from 3:00-5:30 p.m. for a fee of $65 ($13 a day). Daily rates are available. Students may only be on campus during their scheduled class times.

Refunds: We regret that after May 15, we cannot refund money for class changes or absences due to change in plans, family vacation, or illness. Makeup classes are not available. If insufficient enrollment requires the cancellation of a course, all deposits and fees associated with that course will be refunded.

Thank you so much for making Summer Quest your choice for summer fun!
