OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Arts Education is an essential component of each student's education. The goals for each student at FCDS include an active engagement in Arts Education, a lifelong pursuit of creativity and cultural enrichment, for the development of the total individual.
As an artist and visual arts instructor, I support the National Art Education Association mission statement and "...affirm my faith in the power of the visual arts to enrich the lives and endeavors of humankind. In a highly technological society such as ours, the visual arts serve as a humanizing force, giving dignity and a sense of worth to the individual."
