The FCDS race
team will be racing in the late model division at Caraway Speedway. This is a
1\4 mile track in NC. They will also attend races at races at Lowe’s Motor
Speedway and concord speedway. Also they would participate in a few Hooters |
The team will consist
of two late model cars two drivers and a full team which would consist of
students. The drivers would be high school students with there license. The
team would consist of anyone over the age of 15. The school will have a full
garage, paint shop, engine shop, and metal shop. The cars will be painted
with the school logo to promote the school. |

The drivers will learn intense driving techniques and the
crew will learn speed and agility in working with cars. |
|
FCDS would
greatly benefit from this add on in many ways. Such as more publicity. The
school would be the only non-college to ever have a race team which would
attract people. Also the kids on the team would get a feel for how racing is
and they will benefit from the experience. This will give family and |
