Why do we need an Aquatic Center? Forsyth Country Day School would definitely benefit from building an indoor aquatic center. As you might know, the Forsyth swim team has become more a part of the school athletic system this year. There are more people on the team. The swim team has been commuting to the Yadkinville Y for practice everyday, which I must say is very strenuous on homework time. It would be a lot easier to walk to the pool on campus. Another way that we could benefit from having this aquatic center is, we could host swim meets and make money by other people renting it. Also, other teams could practice there if they were close by, that is also a money making matter. The aquatic center could also hold aerobics for adults.
