FCDS Community School of the Arts is pleased to continue our dance program for fall 2008 in the Lower School Arts Building. Classes will be taught by Kari Anderson and instructors from In Motion Dance Studios. Save time and money by signing your child up for dance classes here at FCDS. Ballet/Jazz Classes

Junior Pre-K to Kindergarten Beginning Ballet/Jazz Tuesdays 1:00-1:40 p.m.

Pre-K to Kindergarten Continued Ballet/Jazz Tuesdays 1:40-2:20 p.m.

Pre-K to Kindergarten Continued Ballet/Jazz Tuesdays 2:20-3:00 p.m.

Grades 1-4 Ballet/Jazz Tuesdays 3:30-4:15 p.m.

Hip Hop Classes

Grades 1-4 Hip Hop Tuesdays 4:15-5:00 p.m.

Tap/Jazz Classes

Private Dance Instruction (Children and Adults)

Beginner and proficient dancers can benefit from Community School of the Arts offering of private dance instruction. Our instructors are professionally trained in their areas of expertise. Instructors seek to tailor lessons to fit the needs of each student and encourage music and dance appreciation along the way. Private dance study is available for children and adults. Private lessons may be taken in increments of 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Scheduling will be determined by instructor and family availability. Students will have the opportunity to perform in our Spring Recitals.

Tuition for Classes and Private Instruction

The cost for dance classes is $45.00 per month and will be billed per semester. Private dance lesson tuition for Forsyth Country Day School students and parents is $25.50 per half hour. Private lesson payment is billed at the beginning of the semester and may be broken down into monthly payments. Monthly payments will incur a processing fee of $3.00 per month. Tuition for non Forsyth Country Day School students and parents is $26.00 per half hour.
