I am Sara Fischer and I am your math teacher for the 2008-2009 school year.  I love teaching math, but I have many other interests as well. My husband, Robbie, and I love to spend time outdoors with our dog Abby. I also love learning about and experiencing other cultures. In the picture below I (on left) was visiting my sister (on right) in Ethiopia. My sister works for an adoption agency and is a large part of the reason that I want to adopt children some day.  

I love math and it is my goal to help you not only learn math skills but to help you become a confident learner, develop an appreciation of mathematical order and beauty in the world, and to deepen your understanding of mathematical concepts. We will meet these goals through dynamic activities, the use of technology, and discussion.
