The Pollock Fine Arts Academy expands Forsyth Country Day School’s already impressive offerings in orchestra, band, chorus, drama, fine arts, film, video, and individual dance, art, and music instruction. Serving the needs of both our school community and the community at large, the Pollock Fine Arts Academy will ultimately include a state-of-the-art theater.
About Frances Pollock
Frances Pollock was the inspiration for the dream – and what is becoming the reality – of the Pollock Fine Arts Academy. An avid patron of the arts and a gifted musician in her own right, Frances Pollock touched the lives of so many at Forsyth Country Day School through her music, her love, and her kind and generous spirit. When Frances passed away, leaving three children at FCDS, her husband, Dr. Edward Pollock, devoted himself to raising funds for an arts academy at Forsyth Country Day School that would honor both her memory and the vision that they shared.
