Thanks to a generous gift from Jeannine and Dee Smith, the Smith Athletic Complex was completed in January of 2005. This complex includes the Smith Tennis Center (constructed five years ago), Smith Field (used for both football and lacrosse), the Furr Field House, a football and lacrosse practice field, and an athletic plaza with an expansive concession area for fans. The school planned this area as an attractive gathering place that will serve as the center of many student and school activities, ranging from sporting events to all-school picnics.
