  • Textbooks & Additional Fees

    Tuition includes textbooks through 4th grade. Beginning with 5th grade, students must purchase textbooks. Estimated textbook fees and additional fees are as follows:

  • Non-Refundable Deposit

    A non-refundable deposit of $1,500 ($500 for Preschool), accompanied by a signed contract, secures the student’s place in the class. The deposit is then credited toward overall tuition costs (half each semester).
  • Tuition Refund Plan

    A Tuition Refund Plan is available at a reasonable charge (2%). This plan ensures a partial refund of remaining tuition in the event of withdrawal after 14 consecutive calendar days of attendance.
  • Tuition Payment Plans

    There are three tuition payment plans. Options include a two payment plan, a 10-month bank draft plan (12 months for PS), and one payment with a 2% discount if tuition is paid in full upon signing and timely return of the enrollment contract.

    Fees can be found on the Johnson Academic Center page. They are listed under Programs along with descriptions of each service.
  • Dining Service

    Optional lunch and meal plans are available for each division through FLIK. For the 23-24 school year:

    Preschool - Meal plans (morning snack and full lunch) are $562 a semester (fall and spring offered separately)
    Lower School - A lunch meal is $6.30 and includes one entree, two sides, and one beverage 
    Middle & Upper School - A lunch meal is $7.50 and includes one entree, two sides, and one beverage 

    A la carte items are available in the Dining Hall and the Fury Café.

Financial Aid

Forsyth Country Day offers financial aid to make our exceptional educational experience available to those who qualify for admission and demonstrate financial need. All current students entering grades 1-12 and applicants to grades 1-12 are eligible to apply for this need-based financial aid program.

  • Financial Aid Process and Deadlines

    All interested families must apply through Blackbaud to begin the application process. Our school code is 14587.

    • Submit the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) form and accompanying payment online to Blackbaud.    
    • Upload copies of your final pay stubs for 2022 to the Blackbaud portal.
    • Upload copies of your W2s and 1099s for 2022 to the Blackbaud portal.
    If you are self-employed, a copy of your 2022 IRS income tax return (1040, all schedules) is required. It can be uploaded in the Blackbaud portal. The committee may request a copy of any applicant’s IRS income tax return if clarification is needed. 

    Priority for financial aid is given to families completing the process within the stated deadlines.

  • Financial Aid Decisions

    New families:
    • All candidates must apply and be accepted to Forsyth Country Day before a financial aid award can be offered. 
    • Financial aid awards can only be finalized after enrollment is accepted by a family. 
    • The admission office will notify each family of their proposed financial aid award, prior to publishing the award on the enrollment contract. 
    Returning families:
    • Families must reapply each year for financial aid awards, following the steps listed above. 
    • Financial aid awards for returning families will be published on the re-enrollment contract.
