Academic Requirements
Our Junior Pre-Kindergarten class is available for children who are either three or very young four year olds. The admission process for children in this class includes a parent conference with the Director of Admission, and the completion of a brief application form.
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students are selected through a process that includes teacher observations and a developmental evaluation for each child. Following the developmental evaluation, parents are encouraged to return to Forsyth Country Day School for a conference with the Director of Admission to discuss the overall evaluation process.
Students applying for grades 2-12 are selected through a process that includes individual classroom visits, teacher recommendations, previous academic performance, and admission testing. Depending upon the age level of the child, admission interviews are also a part of the admission process.
