Academic Technology
Our Mission is to:
- Support excellence in the delivery and use of technology in instruction, research and scholarly & creative activity.
- Provide quality service to the Forsyth Country Day School community.
- Seek opportunities to advance the use of technology in support of the Forsyth Country Day School’s mission.
What kind of things make up the many activities of our department?
- We are constantly learning about the newest technologies and the most rational and cost-effective ways to integrate that technology into the educational experience of our students.
- We constantly review, revise, implement, and assess our Technology Curriculum for grades PK to 12.
- We provide ongoing computer training for current faculty and staff.
- We assist faculty who would like to support instruction with computer technologies.
- We support and work with the Williams Library Discovery Center.
- We support and work with the FCDS Technology Team.
We understand the unique needs of computing in today's private school and work with faculty, staff, students, and parents to develop the technology skills and resources needed for today and tomorrow.
