The Best Is in the Middle
Middle School (grades 5-8) is a unique time in the life of the 10- to 14-year-old, characterized by great leaps of growth in cognitive, social, and physical development. At FCDS, we embrace this time of growth and change, and our programs are designed to respond to the needs of adolescence. Our skills-based curriculum seeks to develop confident, successful students and lifelong learners. The team approach to teaching encourages communication, cooperation, and interdisciplinary connections among our dedicated faculty. Co-curricular activities, an important component of life in Middle School, include community service, athletics, drama, and seminars.
