The Fiction area in the Lower School Library houses a strong collection of approximately 4500 volumes of fiction books in all genres spanning many reading levels.
To encourage a lifelong love of reading and learning, the
Lower School Library sponsors a 4th grade Book Club, which meets every
Monday morning during the second half of the school year. Students enjoy an
informal book discussion and occasional special breakfast treats. All 4th
graders are invited and encouraged to join, and invitations are distributed
January.
We meet every Monday morning from 8:00—8:25 a.m. in the library to
discuss books we are reading and to recommend favorite books to each other.
We will practice the “art” of book talking and book reviewing. We may even
write our own book reviews to post on the library web site! This is not for
