Expansion of the Student Coordinate Program

One of the opportunities offered by an academic program as strong as that at Forsyth Country Day School is the ability to individualize more of a student's academic work. This ability extends to those students who may not be ready to take on the challenge of our traditional, college prep curriculum. The coordinate program is designed for these students. Offering intensive one on one academic support, the program moves students towards participation in the full range of FCDS courses, ideally by 9th Grade. FCDS intends to expand this program which already includes:

• Remedial attention
• Individualized support
• One on one core subject teaching
• Group/mainstream classes in art, music, guidance, computer, PE
• Social and emotional support
