What is Forsyth411?
This electronic bulletin board is a tool for parents, by parents to share information that every household wants and needs to know about the community in which we live. An invaluable service for new families to our school and area, Forsyth411 serves even longtime FCDS veterans by allowing them to reach out and communicate with every school family – to tap into the wealth of knowledge we each have about local services, activities, trades people, events, businesses and more. In a nutshell, it’s FCDS’ own classified ad service that’s far better than any newspaper or Yellow Pages.
- To post a question or an advertisement to sell something, send your e-mail to forsyth411@fcds.org and include your phone number and/or e-mail address.
ex. “Can anyone recommend a good landscaper? Contact Mary Turf 555-3456 or e-mail mturf@aol.com.”
ex. “Big yard sale, Sat. Feb 18th at 234 Fish street in Clemmons. Lots of kid toys and books. Contact Jerry Trout at 768-5555.”
Your posting will be made the same day (M – F) and will remain on the site for 10 days. To see your posting, visit the site at www.fcds.org/about/forsyth411.asp. If you'd like, you may attach a digital photo to your e-mail. Please provide the photo in JPEG (.jpg) format, preferably at low resolution ("small" or "e-mail quality"). - To make a recommendation to a posted question, you may either contact the person directly or, for more popular questions, post your answer to forsyth411@fcds.org.
