Craig joined FCDS in 2003 as a member of the physical education department. He received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Wake Forest University, where he played varsity basketball for the Demon Deacons. He was a member of the 2000 NIT championship team and ranks third all-time at Wake in 3-point field goals made (255), first in 3-point field goals in a season (100), and has tied an Atlantic Coast Conference record for 11 3-point field goals in a game against Clemson in 2002. In addition to his physical education duties, Craig is the head JV boys' basketball coach and assists with MS football. In May 2005, he married the former Nakesha Merritt, who is a business education teacher and cheerleading coach at Reagan High School.
