* Schools Attuned Program participants register for one of two “paths,” Generalist or Subject Specialist.
- The Generalist Path curriculum builds upon case studies of students and draws from teacher experiences across content areas in grades K-8 settings. This path focuses on early-elementary to early-adolescent developmental challenges. Ideal participants are educators who generally work with students in a variety of academic and social settings, including elementary or middle school classroom teachers teaching in multiple content areas, special education teachers supporting students across content areas, school psychologists, and administrators leading elementary classroom educators
- The Subject Specialist Path curriculum builds upon case studies of students and draws from teacher experiences within their subject areas in grades 7-12 settings. This path focuses on early-to-late-adolescent developmental challenges. Ideal participants are educators who generally work with students in only one subject and/or for limited periods of time and are primarily a member of a small community of other subject specialists, including: middle or high school classroom teachers teaching in one or two focused content areas, special education teachers supporting students in one or two content areas, and administrators leading middle or high school educators.
