The Schools Attuned Program^® is comprehensive professional development program for K-12 educators designed to bring hope and optimism to all students.  In addition to offering educators innovative methods for recognizing, understanding, and managing students with learning differences, it gives teachers and their students a new way of viewing and talking about learning. 

Schools Attuned^® embraces the philosophy and principles of All Kinds of Minds, a non-profit Institute dedicated to the understanding of differences in learning and committed to helping students who struggle with learning achieve success in the classroom and in life. The Schools Attuned Program was designed using principles that reflect standards of professional development from the National Staff Development Council and current research on adult learning. The program was guided by the need to develop content and instructional techniques that build upon educators' wisdom of professional practice, ensure that educators are actively engaged in learning new content, develop capacity for reflection, and provide for classroom-centered follow-up.

Since 2003, Forsyth Country Day School has been part of an exclusive network of internationally-licensed providers offering Schools Attuned^®, the professional development program of All Kinds of Minds, One of seven Professional Development Providers (PDP) licensed by the All Kinds of Minds Institute to deliver the Schools Attuned Program, FCDS offers Program to educators in the public, private, and parochial sectors in North Carolina (excluding public school educators served by the North Carolina State Initiative,) South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Since becoming a Professional Development Provider, more than 1,200 educators have experienced the Schools Attuned Program through Forsyth Country Day, including the entire faculty of the school.
